Project Recipe
Score a 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" piece of Petal Pink cardstock at 4 1/4" and fold in half.
Cut a piece of the Peony Garden DSP 4" by 51/4" and attach to the card base.
Cut a piece of Gray Granite Cardstock 2" by 4" and use the Triple Banner Punch at one end. Stamp a sentiment on the lower part. Attach that about 1/2" from the left side of the DSP, aligning the top even with the top of the DSP.
Using the Petal Pink Cardstock and the Prized Peony dies, cut the 4 what I call "make the peony pieces" out. Using the sponge dauber and Petal Pink ink, edge all the edges. Run the pieces through your die machine in the Subtle Embossing Folder
Put the peony together, starting holding the biggest die cut so that it looks like above, with the slit towards the bottom. Take the second biggest die cut and fit it inside the slit in the biggest one, with both bottom edges even with each other. Glue this in place just along the bottom. Do the same with the 3rd biggest die cut--fit it inside the slit in the 2nd die cut and align the bottoms and glue. Same thing with the smallest one.
Cut a flower center out of Basic Gray cardstock and glue it in the center of the peony. You can also curl the petals out now, or put some Dimensionals in between some of the petals to keep it raised up.
Cut 2 large and one small of the 2 part leaves out of Soft Seafoam (larger part) and Pear Pizzaz (smaller part) and glue them together.
Cut 2 large and one small of the 2 part leaves out of Soft Seafoam (larger part) and Pear Pizzaz (smaller part) and glue them together.
Attach the flower and leaves to the front of the card--I raised them both on Dimensionals, putting the leaves on first where I wanted them and then the flower.
Attach 1 small and 2 larger clear Elegant Faceted gems to the front of your card.
For the inside, cut a 3 3/4" by 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp one of the Prized Peony stamps on it and then attach to the inside of your card.
