L ift me up is a fabulous bundle. I used it for my Occasions Catalogue swap card with a group of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.
Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock 5.5in x 8.5in and fold in half using the bone folder.
Cut a piece of So Saffron cardstock 5.25in x 3.75in and emboss it using the Seaside textured impressions embossing folder.
Take a piece of 3.5in x 2.75in Cupcakes & carousels designer series paper and the largest hot air balloon die from the Up & away thinlits and run it through the Bigshot twice using the Magnetic platform and the Precision Base Plate. Use the Die brush and the Paper piercing tool to remove all the little bits. From the leftover designer series paper, cut the heart thinlit.
On a piece of scrap So Saffron cardstock, stamp the two little clouds and one of the middle sized cloud in Bermuda Bay ink. Cut them out using the Bigshot and the Multipurpose platform. I found the magnets in the Magnetic platform were too strong to hold the small clouds in particular in place while cutting so I swapped it out.
Stamp the "Just a note" sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set in Bermuda Bay on a scrap piece of So Saffron cardstock and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes framelits.
Using a piece of scrap Bermuda Bay cardstock, cut an oval to match your stitched oval shape using the Layering Ovals framelits.
Cut a piece of So Saffron cardstock 5in x 3.5in and stamp it with the "Sending smiles" sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. Attach this piece to the inside of your card using Tear n tape.
Using Tear n tape attach the So Saffron embossed piece of cardstock to your card base.
Attach the Stitched shape to the Bermuda Bay scalloped oval using Tear n tape.
Layout your clouds, balloon, heart and sentiment piece on your card and when you are happy with your layout, add the medium sized cloud just under where your balloon will be using Tear n tape. Then add the hot air balloon using the Fine tip glue pen. Pop up the two little clouds using a Stampin' dimensional cut in half. Position the heart under your sentiment and add it using Tear n tape. Pop your sentiment up on Stampin' dimensionals.
Finally take a piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8 stitched ribbon and tie it in a bow and attach it to the balloon basket. What a yummy colour combination!
