T hankzzzz for stopping by today!
Project Recipe
Summer is so inkredibly buzzzy for me. And by buzzzzy I usually mean I'm trying to soak up some color on the deck. But this week my son starts camp which means summer is about to get hectic.
I took a little time today to create a quick and cute thank you card. I like to have a lot of these on hand because I always have so many kind people in my life doing little things for me and I don't want to be caught without a little note of appreciation.
This was super easy and quick. I made the base of the card from our Basic Black Cardstock cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. From there I cut a mat 5 1/4 x 4 out a piece of Daffodil Delight paper and ran that through my Big Shot using the Hexagon embossing folder. The bee is from the lovely Garden in Bloom set (the thankzzz is retired but you can use any sentiment that fits or write your own! ) The bee and sentiment were stamped in basic black and then the body was stamped in Daffodil Delight onto our Whisper White cardstock and cut out using the Stiched Shapes Framelits. The same with the sentiment at the bottom. It was stamped with Basic Black on Whisper White cardstock and matted onto Basic Black Cardstock. I made the pieces into a banner using our Banner Punch. I used Basic Black Shimmer ribbon and attached the Bee using our pop up dots. And there you have it! A great card to make when you are buzzzzy but need something asap!
