T his project was inspired by one found on Pinterest by Kristi from www.stampinwithkristi.com. Cake is always the answer!
Project Recipe
Cut:
Very Vanilla card stock 5 1/2" X 8 1/2", scoring at 4 1/4"
Balmy Blue 5 1/4" X 4"
Tranquil Textures DSP 5 1/8" X 4 7/8"
Cut a 5" and 7" piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. Use the Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends marker to color both pieces of the ribbon. Blot with paper towel, if desired. Set aside.
Stamp the cake and cake stand on scrap of Very Vanilla CS. Using the Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends and the Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends, color the ribbons and flowers on the cake. Using the Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Marker, color the cake stand. Upon completion, use the Clear Wink of Stella to highlight the cake and cake stand.
Use the Cake Builder Punch to punch both cake and cake stand. Set aside.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment on the stitched rectangle cut from Very Vanilla CS.
Die cut a rectangle using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits from Very Vanilla CS scrap.
From a scrap of Very Vanilla CS to stamp the sentiment using the Stamparatus. Punch the sentiment with the Classic Label Punch.
Adhere the DSP to the Balmy Blue CS. Adhere the 7" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to DSP and Balmy Blue, then adhere to the card base.
Use dimensionals to place the cake, cake stand and sentiment on the Very Vanilla rectangle. Decorate with pearls and Tranquil Textures Sprinkles. Adhere the rectangle to the card base. Tie a bow the the 5" ribbon and secure with a glue dot.
Stamp the sentiment slightly off-center on the inside of the card with the Balmy Blue Stampin' Pad.
Using scrap pieces of Balmy Blue and Mint Macaron CS, Cut pieces of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet the same as the CS. Remove the backing and adhere to the pieces of CS.
Use the medium sized doily framelit from the Doily Builder Thinlits to die cut two Mint Macaron doilies and one Balmy Blue doily. Remove the backing and adhere to the upper left corner of the inside of the card.
