T his card features the Happy Wishes Stamp Set (Level 2 SAB) and the Springtime Foils Sheets (Level 1 SAB).
Project Recipe
Take a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock measuring 6" x 8" and score the long side at 4". Fold and burnish the score line with a Bone Folder to give a crisp fold.
Take a piece of Whisper White Cardstock measuring at least 4 1/2" x 3 1/2". Ink up the 'best' stamp with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and stamp the image on the cardstock.
Using the Layering Ovals Framelits Plain Die #2 (I number mine from largest to smallest) cut out an oval around the image, with the bottom of the letters just above the centre line.
Using the Scalloped Die #1, cut a scalloped oval from a scrap of Bermuda Bay Cardstock.
Stick the plain oval to the scalloped one using liquid glue.
Using the Memento ink, stamp the 'wishes' stamp underneath the 'best' image.
Making sure the ink is dry, use the Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers. With a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, draw around the stamped 'best' as shown and then colour inside this with the Bermuda Bay Dark Stampin' Blend.
Take the Floral Images sheet from the Stampin' Foils pack and fussy cut the flower images used to frame the card.
Colour the flowers using the Light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blend and the leaves in the Light Old Olive. Using the Dark Blend in each colour, add shading, then colour over the whole image again with the Light Blend to blend the two shades nicely. Use the Dark Pumpkin Pie Blend for the flower centres.
Attach the coloured flowers to the ovals as shown in the picture. Add five Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the ovals then attach the whole thing to the front of your card base.
Sit back and admire your creation!
