Project Recipe
Cut card base of Very Vanilla measuring 8.5" x 5.5" score at 4.25"
Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" and a piece of Crushed Curry to 3" x 4"
Use the Honeycomb textured impressions embossing folder or the Hexagon textured impressions embossing folder to emboss the Crushed Curry paper.
Use a sponge brayer on the embossed card stock to lightly layer on Crushed Curry ink (photo is darker than my preference). You can use which ever side of the honeycomb texture that appeals to you.
Using Basic Black and the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits cut out one bee and mount body on Crushed Curry. Glue or tape in place and fussy cut around the body.
Using Tuxedo Black Momento ink stamp the bee from Dragonfly Dreams on Crushed Curry and fussy cut around it. It's easier to cut off the antennae and draw them on later.
Adhere hexagon embossed card stock to basic black.
Use the texture stamp from Dragonfly Dreams and Crushed Curry ink to stamp a random pattern around the edge of the card base front up to 1.5" from edge.
Adhere matted honeycomb at an angle on the card and add the bees using Stampin dimensionals for the die cut bee and snail adhesive for the stamped bee.
Stamp a sentiment in the bottom right corner using tuxedo black moments ink.
