I love the colors of leaves in the fall. This card was made with the Nature’s Rooted framelits. The watercolor paper was embossed and cut out then painted with an Aqua painter and reinkers. I used the Rocker technique for the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler. The background is embossed with the Subtle 3-D Textured Impression Embossing folder.
Project Recipe
Cardstock Measurements include:
Whisper White card base 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, panel 5 1/4” x 4”, Cherry Cobbler 5 3/8” x 4 1/4”, scraps of Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, and watercolor paper.
1. Emboss the Whisper White panel with the Subtle 3-D Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Then use Tear and Tape to attach to the Cherry Cobbler panel.
2. Cut 15 inches of the 3/16” Braided Linen Ribbon, wrap around the panel and tie a knot. Fray ends then set aside.
3. Using the 3 leaves embossing die from Nature’s Roots, emboss and cut 4 sets of leaves from watercolor paper.
4. Using an Aqua painter and a non porous surface with a drop of Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie reinkers, paint all the leaves. Set aside to dry.
5. Ink sentiment in Pumpkin Pie, then using Rocker technique roll outer edges of stamp in Cherry Cobbler. Stamp on a scrap piece of Whisper White and then punch out with the 2 1/4” Circle Punch.
6. Use the Layering Circles to cut a Cherry Cobbler circle slightly larger than Whisper White circle. Use adhesive to attach circles together.
7. Place a couple of Dimensionals on the back of the circles and then attach to embossed panel over ribbon. Use Glue Dots to attach watercolored leaves to panel under circles and TA-DA.
