Project Recipe
Using an A4 sheet of Poppy Parade card, cut a strip the length of the card measuring 9.9cm wide. Score this strip along the long side 9.9cm in from each end. Concertina the card to form the z-fold.
Using the 2nd largest long elongated heart, cut an aperture in the front panel. Using this aperture as a guide, cut an aperture in the 2nd panel using the heart die that is the next size down.
Layer the 4 heart dies inside each other on a piece of black card and run it through the big shot. This will give you 3 frames and a small heart. Cut a further 2 small hearts from red card. Stick the 3 heart frames in place around the apertures and inside the central aperture. Use a black stampin' blend to run around the inside edge of the apertures to cover any red that is showing.
Use the scalloped stitched die to cut the 2 border strips for the front of the card. Emboss the 3 small hearts with the dot to dot embossing folder.
Stamp the greeting on to a strip of red card. Use the triple banner punch to shape the end. Mat the greeting banner onto black card. On the front panel, stick the 2 border strips in place, stick on the greeting banner and layer up 2 embossed hearts, one red and one black. Finish it with a bow made from black twine stuck onto the embossed hearts with a glue dot.
On the 2nd panel, stamp the smallest heart from the "Meant to Be" stamp set randomly all over the panel in black.
On the back panel, stick the small red heart in the centre of the black frame with dimensionals. Stamp "Happy Valentine's Day" in the top left corner and some more random small hearts in the bottom right corner.
