B right and cheery card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pineapple Punch Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Call Me Clover Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" of Pineapple Punch stripes design from 2018-2020 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are running the length of the rectangle
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Pineapple Punch Cardstock at least 3" long
Mount the large image of two blooming daffodils from the You're Inspiring Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large white rectangle on the right side so the right edge of the image almost touches the right edge of the cardstock and the top of the image is about 3/4" from the top. Set aside to let it dry. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Call Me Clover Ink Pad. Stamp it again on the square of white cardstock so you get the two flowers. Set it aside to dry.
Pick out the scalloped edge thinlit from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Place the strip of designer paper on top of a Standard Cutting Pad on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped edge thinlit along one long edge so the bottoms of the scallops are as close to the edge as possible. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Lemon Lime Twist Marker to color in the leaves and stems of the image stamped on the large piece of white cardstock.
Use the Pineapple Punch Marker to color in the bud on the image stamped on the large piece of white cardstock.
Adhere the designer paper with scallops cut along one long edge to the left side of the large stamped and partially colored white piece so the scallops are even on either end. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess designer paper.
Cut a 6" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the left edge of the designer paper/white cardstock layers so the ribbon is about 1/4" from the left edge. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the Call Me Clover rectangle and then to the front of the Pineapple Punch card.
Cut a 3" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front near the top and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Use the Pineapple Punch Marker to color in the daffodil flowers stamped on the smaller piece of white cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the flowers.
Tip: If desired, you can use the edge of the brush tip of the Pineapple Punch Marker to color the edges of the cut out flowers. This helps cover any white spots along the edges.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the cut out flowers over the tops of the flowers stamped on the main image on the card front.
Mount the "Kind thoughts for you" sentiment on Block G. Ink up only the words "Kind thoughts" using the brush tip of the Call Me Clover Marker. Breather on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp it in the center of the strip of Pineapple Punch Cardstock.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the punched out sentiment to the base of the daffodils image.
