Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-3/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
Adhere the large Rich Razzleberry rectangle to the front of the Sweet Sugarplum card.
Pick out the square with lots of little lines thinlit from the Move Me Thinlits Dies. Place the 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place a piece of wax paper over the top of the cardstock. Place the square with lines thinlit on top so that it is about 1/4" from the top and left and right sides and about 3/4" from bottom. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the You Move Me Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "you move me with your" sentiment from the You Move Me Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the grid cut Sweet Sugarplum rectangle so it is centered under the grid.
Put strips of Foam Adhesive Strips along the back of the grid cut Sweet Sugarplum rectangle on the left and right sides and along the very bottom. Do NOT put any on the top edge!
Remove the protective backing from the Foam Adhesive Strips and adhere the grid cut rectangle to the card front on the right side about 1/8" in from the top, bottom, and right sides of the Rich Razzleberry layer.
Use the corner rounder punch on the Envelope Punch Board to round off the top two corners on the white rectangle.
Tip: Make sure you get both sides of the corner of the paper pushed right up against both sides of the guide on the corner rounder punch on the Envelope Punch Board.
Mount the "Kindness" sentiment from the You Move Me Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it as close to the bottom of the corner rounded white rectangle as possible.
Mount the large striped butterfly image from the You Move Me Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the corner rounded white rectangle just above the word.
Mount the smaller striped butterfly image from the You Move Me Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper one time. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it over the top of the previously stamped butterfly image on the corner rounded white rectangle. Line the body of the butterfly up with the body of the previously stamped image.
Mount the large more solid butterfly image from the You Move Me Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped butterfly image on the corner rounded white rectangle.
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Insert the strip of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the Rich Razzleberry tag to the back of the corner rounded, stamped white rectangle so that the top of the Rich Razzleberry tag sticks out from the top of the white rectangle.
Cut a 3" piece of Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon through the ribbon slot at the top of the tag and pull the ribbon through until it is even on both sides.
Cut an 8" piece of Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine.
Tie the twine around the ribbon just above the top of the tag. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine and ribbon.
Slide the tag into the pocket formed by the grid cardstock on the front of the card. Slowly pull the tag out and watch the magic as the butterfly appears to flap its wings.
Mount the tiny, solid butterfly image from the You Move Me Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the small piece of Sweet Sugarplum. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the tiny, solid butterfly with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the small piece of Sweet Sugarplum.
Mount the tiny, detail butterfly image from the You Move Me Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of one of the previously stamped tiny butterflies. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it over the top of the other tiny butterfly.
Pick out the tiny butterfly thinlit from the Move Me Thinlits Dies. Place the stamped tiny butterflies on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tiny butterfly thinlit on top of one of the tiny butterflies so that it is centered over the image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Repeat with the other tiny butterfly.
Pick out the large solid butterfly and the large detail butterfly thinlits from the Move Me Thinlits Dies. Place the 2-1/2" square of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the large detailed butterfly thinlit on top. Place the large solid butterfly thinlit on top so it is centered around the detailed butterfly thinlit. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensionals in the center of the back of the large, detailed butterfly cut out to adhere it to the card front. Adhere it to the left side at a slight angle to the right so it overlaps the left side of the grid rectangle a bit.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the two tiny butterfly cut outs to the card front above and below the big detailed butterfly cut out at slight angles.
Carefully peel up a medium rhinestone from a sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the large detailed butterfly cut out.
