I'll show you how easy it is to do!
Project Recipe
Let's start the project with a Basic Grey card stock cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish the edge with your bone folder.
Whisper white card stock cut to 4" x 5 1/4" and one at 3 1/2" x 5", then a Vellum piece cut to 3 3/4" x 5. Also have a piece of extra vellum and Rich Razzleberry card stock handy.
Find the flower stamp in the Amazing you set and stamp randomly with Smokey Slate ink on the 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper white card stock.
In creating this, I later decided that I would leave a blank space on the right side so the "are simply" stamp would show up better...but I forgot to get a picture. Look at the finished project to see where I left that spot blank.
Next, after cleaning the flower stamp thoroughly, get an extra piece of vellum, rub gently with the Embossing buddy to prep the paper, and using Versamark ink, stamp 4 flowers.
Immediately dust the images with silver Embossing powder, tapping off the excess carefully. I usually do this over a paper plate so i can easily fold it to put left over powder back in the container.
Now you can take your Heat Tool and emboss the flowers. You will notice it turning the powder to a metallic silver as it heats. Try not to over heat one spot, as you can slightly burn the vellum. Keep the heat tool moving in small circles over the powder until you are done.
Cut apart the 4 flowers. I always make one extra just in case I don't like how something turns out.
With the Light Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blend pen, color on the REVERSE side of the vellum.
Then use the Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin blend to add a little shading to it. Then go back over it all with the light Rich Razzleberry pen to blend a bit more.
Now fussy cut 3 of the flowers out carefully. See how it kind of has a stained glass effect? I love this technique!
Cut out the word "amazing" and "YOU" from the Celebrate You dies in Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
Grab your base card, in Basic Gray, make sure it opens horizontally, center and attach the white card with the flowers stamped on them with Snail adhesive. Now take the 3 3/4" x 5" vellum and place a glue dot in each corner, center and attach it as well. There should be about an 1/8" border showing . Stamp the words "are simply" in Rich Razzleberry ink on the middle right. You may want to lay out all your words and flowers to see exactly where you want it placed. Note: I also embossed this with Clear Embossing powder so it stands out a bit more.
Place glue dots on the back of 2 of the flowers, and Dimentionals on the back of the third one. Arrange the first two flowers in place and then the third one on top of those so it stands out slightly.
Finally you can glue or use adhesive tape to position and adhere the words "YOU" and "amazing' in place to finish the front of the card.
I then rounded the corners of the 3 1/2" x 5" Whisper white piece, Stamped the flower in the Lower left and a bit in the upper right, and attached it to the inside of the card. I also randomly stamped the flap of the Envelope with the same so it would match the card. I hope you enjoyed making this pretty card!
