A no stamping Easter card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" square from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 1-1/8" x 1-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Insert the large white rectangle into the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Pick out the large heart surrounded by flowers and leaves die from the Floral Heart Dies. Put it on top of the white square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the open heart part of the dis is centered on the cardstock. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick paper piercing tool to remove all the pieces. You are only using the solid white heart cut out on this project.
Rub a Blending Brush across the open Pacific Point Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush on the top of the white heart. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Make sure you have a piece of Grid Paper under the rectangle to protect your work surface.
Tip: I just clean my Blending Brushes when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Rub a different Blending Brush across the open Daffodil Delight Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush on the bottom of the white heart so it overlaps the blue a bit giving you a bit of green. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Make sure you have a piece of Grid Paper under the rectangle to protect your work surface.

Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Granny Apple Green rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the "Easter" word die from the Word Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the Granny Apple Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Granny Apple Green side is facing up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the "Easter" word cut out and adhere it to the blended heart so it overlaps the green created by blending the blue and yellow together.
Pick out the group of four leaf stems die from the Floral Heart Dies. Put it on top of the Granny Apple Green square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick paper piercing tool to remove all the pieces.
Flip the blended "Easter" heart upside down. Place the two larger leaf stem cut outs on the lower left side of the back of the heart cut out and adhere in place with Stampin' Dimensionals. Place the two smaller leaf stem cut outs on the upper right side of the back of the heart cut out and adhere in place with Stampin' Dimensionals. Add more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the heart as needed.
Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the heart cut out with word and leaf stems attached to the front of the card as shown.
