P retty card using some sneak peek products from Stampin' Up!
Project Recipe
Cut card stock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Berry Burst Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Powder Pink Card Stock
- 1" x 5" from Berry Burst Card Stock
- 1-3/8" x 5" from Whisper White Card Stock
- scrap of Powder Pink Card Stock at least 3" long
Mount the background image of scattered flowers and leaves from the Wood Words Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large Powder Pink rectangle about 1/4" from the top and 1/4" from the left side. Leave the stamp on the block.
Reink the stamp with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it to the right of the first image. Let the two images overlap just a bit in the center. Leave the stamp on the block.
Reink the stamp with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it to below the first image. Let the two images overlap just a bit in the center. Leave the stamp on the block.
Reink the stamp with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it to the right of the third image. Let the two images overlap just a bit in the center.
Mount the heart image on Block A and the circle image on Block B.
Ink up the heart image using the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it near the top of the white strip on the left side. Let the heart go over the left edge a bit. Leave the stamp on the block.
Reink the heart image with the Powder Pink Ink Pad and stamp the heart again so it overlaps the first heart just a bit on the right side. Leave the stamp on the block.
Ink up the circle image using the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it to the right of the second heart so it overlaps just a bit.
Stamp more hearts across the white strip so they overlap the circle and then each other just a bit. Remember to reink the stamp each time.
Clean the heart stamp using Stampin' Mist and the Stampin' Scrub.
Ink up the heart image with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Powder Pink circle.
Adhere the long strip of Berry Burst Card Stock to the back of the stamped white strip so only about 1/8" shows along the top.
Adhere the strip to the center of the large, stamped Powder Pink rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon piece across the card front so it hides the seam between the white and pink card stocks. Flip the card front over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere them in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ends.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the card front. Adhere the card front to the front of the Berry Burst card.
Mount the sentiment of your choice on Block G. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of Powder Pink Card Stock.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the sentiment into the punch and align it in the punching area so the words are to the right side. Punch.
Punch a hole in the left end of the sentiment punch out using the 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch.
Cut a 4" piece of Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine. Slide on end through the hole in the sentiment punch out.
Tie the sentiment punch out to the ribbon on the card front using the baker's twine so it is under the dark heart in the circle. Trim the ends of the baker's twine off.
Cut a 4" piece of Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon. Slide one end under the ribbon on the card front. Tie it in place using a half knot so it covers the baker's twine. Trim the ends.
Pick out either a Flirty Flamingo or a Sweet Sugarplum heart shape from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes. Adhere it to the center of the dark heart in the circle using a couple of Mini Glue Dots. You may want to squish the edges of the glue dot in a bit.
