Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Fig Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 1" x 5-1/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 2-1/4" x 3" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Petal Pink Cardstock
Mount the large bunch of 5 leaves image from the Wonderful Romance Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Pear Pizzazz rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it once on the large Old Olive rectangle so the center leaf is pointing straight up and is about 7/8" from the top edge of the Old Olive rectangle. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on a Post-It Note near the sticky edge of the Post-It Note. Leave the stamp on the block.
Cut out the leaf image on the Post-It Note using Paper Snips. Cut just inside the stamped lines. Don't worry about cutting out the stem, you don't need it.
Place the image cut from the Post-It Note on top of the image stamped on the Old Olive rectangle.
Re-ink the large bunch of 5 leaves image with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large Old Olive rectangle so the center leaf is angled slightly to the left while pointing up and is about 1/2" from the top of the Old Olive rectangle. It should overlap the Post-It Note some.
Peel up the Post-It Note. Throw it away or store it in the case with the Wonderful Romance Set to use on future projects where you want to mask the leaves.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the long, skinny Old Olive rectangle close to one long edge. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Old Olive Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Old Olive facing up).
Pick out the long, skinny lattice work and leaves framelit from the Wonderful Floral Framelits. Put it on top of the Old Olive Cardstock on the Big Shot so the lattice work portion will be cut out of the side with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet adhered to the back and is about 1/8" in from the left edge. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Peel off the protective backing and adhere the lattice work and leaves cut out to the left edge of the stamped Old Olive rectangle so the left edge of the cut out (next to the lattice) is about 1/4" from the left edge of the stamped Old Olive rectangle. Trim off excess lattice work on the top and bottom edges as needed using Paper Snips.
Cut a 6" piece of the Blackberry Bliss twine from the Nature's Twine.
Lay the twine across the rectangle so it covers the seam between the Old Olive layers. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the twine over. Adhere the ends of the twine in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Old Olive rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Fresh Fig card.
Pick out the large bunch of 5 leaves framelit from the Wonderful Floral Framelits. Place the stamped leaves on the Pear Pizzazz rectangle on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the leaves framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Petal Palette Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-1/2" x 3" white rectangle.
Pick out the large oval with rectangles cut into the edges thinlit from the Wonderful Floral Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment rectangle on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval thinlit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and paper-piercing attachment on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Adhere the sentiment oval cut out to the front of the card so it is tucked under the leaves of the lattice work and leaves cut out and is about 1/2" from the bottom edge and about 1/4" from the right edge.
Cut the stem off the bunch of 5 leaves image cut out. Adhere it to the card front so the leaves overlap the sentiment oval just above the sentiment and tuck under the leaves on the edge of the lattice work and leaves cut out.
Mount the bird image from the Petal Palette Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller white rectangle.
Pick out the bird framelit from the Petals & More Thinlits. Place the stamped bird on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the bird framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bird cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the left edge of the lattice work and leaves cut out just above and to the left of the sentiment.
Mount the tiny flower image from the Wonderful Romance Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it twice on the scrap of Petal Pink Cardstock remembering to re-ink the stamp each time and leaving room between them to be able to cut them out with the matching framelits.
Pick out both of the tiny flower framelits from the Wonderful Floral Framelits. Place the stamped flowers on the Petal Pink scrap on the Cutting Pad on the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the flower framelits on top so they are centered over the images. Make sure the framelits do NOT overlap. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the fine tip of the Fresh Fig Marker to color in the centers of the flower cut outs.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flower cut outs to the front of the card. Adhere one in the upper right corner and one in the lower right corner so it overlaps the sentiment oval cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a Fresh Fig flower from a sheet of Frosted Flower Embellishments making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front on the left of the sentiment oval cut out just below the bird so it appears to be growing from the leaves along the lattice work and leaves cut out.
Cut an 8" piece of the Blackberry Bliss twine from the Nature's Twine.
Tie a small bow in the center of the twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the front of the card so it is right next to the twine already on the card on the top.
