T his might just be my favorite technique EVER and it's so simple to make! Let's get started...
Project Recipe
Cut 2 pieces of card stock that each measure 4 1/4" x 6 3/4".
Score each one at 1" and 1 3/4" on the longest edge (6 3/4").
Rotate one panel so that the score lines are on the right.
Fold each panel on the score lines so they look like this...
Cut a 2" x 2 3/4" panel which will become the wiper. Place it on your Stampin' Trimmer so that it looks like this picture. Score and fold back and forth so that it bends easily.
If you don't have a trimmer like this, measure in from both sides of a corner 5/8" and mark it on each side. Connect the markings to make a triangle. Fold on that line.
Flip over the panel from step 2 that has the score lines on the left. You will be looking at the back side of the front panel. The score lines should still be on the left.
Measure up 1 3/4" from the bottom, along the 1" score line and place the wiper panel (from step 3) to the right of that score line with the scored triangle at the top left. Glue ONLY the triangle to that spot.
Flip the wiper panel back over, keeping the score lines at the left.
Attach it to the other panel (from step 1) as shown. The paperclips in this picture show where you'll glue the card together. Basically, it's the 1" strip at each end that glues to the facing panel.
To make the wiper work, simply hold the card in both hands and pull outward in each direction. The wiper should pop up! Glue a llama to the wiper and finish decorating your card!
