T
he design on the top of the box, allows you to place vellum or DSP on the underneath side of the lid.
Thanks to Rachel Tessman and Kirsteen Gill for sharing their videos on "how to" for this awesome bundle from Stampin' Up!
Project Recipe
For each box, you will need to cut 2 bases from 1 - 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of card stock
Attach the top to the bottom, as indicated, using Tear & Tape
Cut off the 2 outer tabs on the "legs"
Place Tear & Tape where indicated - referring to the previous picture, that would be on the "hands", the "armpits" and the "love-handles"
Fold on all score lines and burnish with bone folder
Fold the legs on the score lines, wrap the arms around the legs and tuck the head!
When cutting designs into the sides of the box, you have to have the cut-outs upside down on the bottom piece - especially for the candles and the hearts!
Here are 2 other framelits from the kit
- to use the banner ends framelit, stamp on a strip of card stock - 7/8" x 5-1/2"
- the oval is made to go around 2 stamps from the Window Shopping Stamp Set
Some suggestions for items that will fit in this box are:
- small note cards made with the Window Shopping Stamp Set
- cash
- gift cards
- chocolate kisses
