Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/8" x 4-7/8" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 2" x 4-3/4" of dark green spots on lighter green background design from In The Wild 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/4" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
Adhere the piece of In The Wild Designer Paper to the center of the 2-1/8" x 4-7/8" rectangle of Evening Evergreen Cardstock.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the matted designer paper rectangle across the top of the horizontal vanilla rectangle so about 1/8" of vanilla shows on the top, left, and right edges.
As you are ready to stamp using the Wild Cats Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Wild Cats Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it just below the matted designer paper rectangle so the left edge of the sentiment is about 2-1/4" from the left edge of the vanilla rectangle.
Adhere the matted designer paper in place over the stamped sentiment.
Adhere the stamped vanilla rectangle to the center of the large Evening Evergreen rectangle and then to the front of the Very Vanilla Thick card.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive about 3-1/2" long horizontally across the bottom of the matted designer paper about 1/2" from the bottom edge and centered side to side.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and adhere the piece of the ribbon across it.
Mount the large, leafy plant image from the Wild Cats Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small rectangle of Evening Evergreen.
Pick out the matching, large, leafy plant die from the Big Cats Dies. Put it on top of the stamped plant image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the plant cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the ribbon with the bottom of the ribbon and bottom of the cut out being even and the left edge of the leaves is about 1-3/8" from the left edge of the card.
Mount the solid sitting cat image from the Wild Cats Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical Crushed Curry rectangle.
Pick out the large, open, sitting cat die from the Big Cats Dies. Put it on top of the stamped cat image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the cat image. Run through the machine.
Mount the cat head with spots image from the Wild Cats Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped cat cut out lining up the ears and nose.
Mount the larger grouping of cat spots image from the Wild Cats Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped cat cut out on the bottom legs.
Mount the smaller grouping of cat spots image from the Wild Cats Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped cat cut out in the center of the back.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the stamped cat cut out to the front of the card just to the left of the sentiment so it overlaps the lower left side of the plant cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large Mint Macaron gem from a sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the card front in the upper right corner of the matted designer paper.
