T his easy elegant card features a glorious heat embossed Royal Peacock in sparkly white with iridescent sequins providing even more sparkle.
Project Recipe
Paper Cut Sizes:
Blackberry Bliss Base 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
Noble Peacock Foil layer - 4 x 5 1/4
Blueberry Bushel 3 1/4 x 5
Scrap of Blueberry Bushel for Greeting ~ 2 in square
Whisper White Insert - 4 x 5 1/4
Scraps of Glimmer Sparkle for die cut twigs
Wipe Blueberry Bushel panels with the embossing buddy to remove any static, etc. Stamp greeting and peacock on Blueberry Bushel card stock in VersaMark ink.
Sprinkle with Shimmer White embossing Ink and heat set.
Stamp comb decoration onto the top left and bottom right in VersaMark. Sprinkle with Shimmer White embossing powder and heat set.
Use the twig like dies from the Detailed Peacock Die set to cut out two pieces from the Sparkle (white) glimmer paper. Use an oval punch around the greeting.
Use mini glue dots to adhere the sparkle glimmer die cuts to the back of the oval Blueberry bushel greeting. Adhere them so that they look similar to this.
Stamp decoration onto the envelope and Whisper White insert panel. Use Multi purpose liquid glue and adhere the insert onto the inside of the card.
Begin layering / adhering card components together. Glue the Foil panel onto the Blackberry Bliss base.
Then glue the Blueberry Bushel embossed panel onto the foil layer toward the right margin.
Stick dimensionals on the back of the Blueberry Bushel oval greeting and adhere to the right side of the card like this.
Embellish peacock tail, forehead comb and corner combs with iridescent sequins.
