T his card was created using a Saturday inspiration layout I posted on Facebook. I used the What's Cookin' stamps and coordinating dies for the images to help tie the design and embossing together.
Project Recipe
Start with your so saffron paper at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", fold at 4 1/2" to make the base.
You will have four strips of calypso coral measuring 1 x 3 3/4"
Emboss those with whatever folder you have, I used dainty diamonds.
You will also have four strips of costal cabana paper cut to about 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" long
The costal cabana pieces will go on the side of the calypso coral pieces. Put them on the front of the card at various angles.
Adhere the flat to the card front.
Next stamp some of the utensils and the veggies and cut them out with the dies. I did the spoon and spatula.
You can color them in before you cut, it will make them easier to color on a larger piece of paper.
Stamp the greeting and cut it out with any die frame that fits or a punch. Heck, just cut it with your trimmer if that's what you have handy.
Cut a piece of ribbon to run back n forth under the sentiment. You can adhere that with glue dots or dimensionals, whatever works for you.
When the ribbon is attached then pop up the sentiment on the front of the card with dimensionals
decorate around the sentiment with the pieces that you colored and cut out.
You can stamp some more of the utensils on white and layer it inside too. It adds a nice touch to have something on the inside. Don't forget the envelope as well, stamp something on there too!
Enjoy!
