S hort and sweet - A quick easy birthday card for any of the men in your life!
Project Recipe
Cut Soft Suede Card Stock to 4 1/4" x 11". Score at 5 1/2".
Emboss front of card (only) with Woodgrain Impressions Embossing folder.
Stamp goose with Early Espresso Ink on 3" x 3" piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock.
Ink up sponge dauber on Pear Pizzazz ink pad. On scrap paper swipe the dauber back-and-forth to remove most of the ink. Now lightly swipe the dauber around the feet of the goose to create "grass".
With ink pad closed, squeeze the ink pad. Open the ink pad and you will see a small "puddle" of ink on the cover. Ink up the blender pen in the puddle of ink and scribble on the cover to distribute. Now on a scrap piece of paper "color" until the ink fades to a light shade. Now color in the goose leaving the center of his belly white.
Stamp the greeting in Baked Brown Sugar in the upper left-hand corner.
Tip - You don't need to push hard on the stamp. Press firmly and count to 5 slowly. This will allow the ink to absorb into the paper. Lift the stamp straight up and off the paper and you will have a nice, crisp image.
Tip - If the greeting isn't clear, stamp on a scrap of paper, punch it out with your favorite paper punch and adhere it over your "mistake". Remember, there are no mistakes.... only creative opportunities.
Adhere the art piece to a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock. Cut a 2" piece of ribbon, fold it in half and adhere it to the back of the Pear Pizzazz card stock.
Adhere the Pear Pizzazz piece to the front of the card using Dimensionals (foam adhesive that pops-up the layer of paper to add more dimension).
