B right, cheery spring birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bermuda Bay Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 1" x 3-3/4" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 3 pieces each 1" x 2-1/4" from Melon Mambo
- 2 pieces 1" x 2-1/4" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1" x 2-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Pick out the large circle with flowers inside die from the Sending Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the Pear Pizzazz rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so it is centered side to side and about 1/4" from the top. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces,
Note: The pattern on the outer edge of the circle does not cut all the way out.
Adhere the cut Pear Pizzazz rectangle to the front of the Bermuda Bay card. You can use SNAIL around the edges and a few Mini Glue Dots behind some of the flowers.
As you are ready to stamp using the Varied Vases Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment from the Varied Vases Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the long Melon Mambo strip.
Pick out the long, scalloped edge rectangle die from the Sending Flowers Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Cut a 4-1/4" piece of Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon so it has sharp angles on either end.
Lay the ribbon across the back of the sentiment cut out so the ribbon hangs over the ends just a bit on either end and is centered top to bottom. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to hold the ribbon in place.
Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the sentiment cut out with ribbon attached to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the flower circle cut out.
Pick out the two groupings of flower tops dies from the Sending Flowers Dies. Put them on top of SINGLE layers of Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Repeat until you have cut out three groups of flowers from the Melon Mambo Cardstock and two groups of flowers each from the Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Cardstock,
Use the Mini Glue Dots to adhere the flower tops over the tops of the flowers in the circle cut out on the Pear Pizzazz rectangle. I used Melon Mambo tulips and Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry daisies.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up different sizes of Melon Mambo dots from a sheet of Glitter Enamel Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the daisy flowers with holes in the middle.
