T
his card is so quick and easy to make! And this can be used for many different occasions, depending on the sentiment you choose.
I've used Attention Shoppers for the Thanks stamp, but you can substitute any sentiment you have on hand :)
Project Recipe
Measurements:
Daffodil Delight:
4 1/4" x 11", score @ 5 1/2"
Basic White:
5 3/8" x 4" - Radiating Stitches Die
5 1/4" x 4" - Inside Layer
Scrap for your sentiment
Linen Thread:
Approximately 20"
Using the largest die from the Radiating Stitches set, die cut the piece of Basic White card stock.
Using Misty Moonlight ink, stamp the waterline about 2" up from the bottom of the die-cut Basic White layer.
Next, take the Sun stamp and ink it up with Daffodil Delight ink. Set the stamp block with the stamp facing up on your work surface.
Using a sponge dauber, dab the Peach Pie ink pad and apply the ink on top of the stamp. You are randomly applying the Peach Pie ink over the Daffodil Delight ink. DO THIS BEFORE YOU STAMP THE IMAGE ON YOUR CARDSTOCK! Once you've added the Peach Pie ink, line up the over the water image and stamp the sun. You should see variations of the Peach Pie and Daffodil Delight Ink.
Using Night of Navy ink, stamp the sailboat image.
Using your sentiment of choice and Night of Navy ink, stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. Trim down the sentiment (or fussy cut it if you prefer).
Take the Linen Thread and wrap it around your card layer twice, leaving enough to tie a bow on the front right side of the card layer.
Attach the layer to the front of the Daffodil Delight card base.
Attach the sentiment over the Linen Thread using dimensionals.
On the 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp only 1/2 of the water line image on the lower right-hand side of the layer.
Stamp the sailboat using Night of Navy ink.
Repeat the same process for the front of the envelope.
You are finished!
