I find myself needing A LOT of thank you cards. This is a card design you could use with any print paper. I am using the pretty tulip print from the Flowering Fields paper pack.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Old Olive 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Poppy Parade 4 X 5 ¼. I punched out the mat for sentiment with the Everyday Label punch before attaching the card front. This is a way to make good use of your paper.
Card Front: Cut Tulip print from Flowering Fields paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach tuli print paper to the Poppy Parade mat. Attach these to the Old Olive card base.
Stamp Thank You from the Flowing Flowers stamp set with black ink on Basic White card stock. Punch out the sentiment with the Label Me Fancy punch. Attach stamped white punched piece to Poppy Parade punched mat with dimensionals, attach to card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
