Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of pink clouds design from Flowering Fields 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the clouds are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3/4" x 4" from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 3/4" x 4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 5/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the pink clouds Flowering Fields Designer Paper rectangle to the front of the Poppy Parade card.
Pick out the stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 2-1/4" x 3-5/8" from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Put it on top of the 2-1/2" x 4" Poppy Parade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the horizontal white rectangle, leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 1-7/8" x 3-1/4" from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Put it on top of the stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is in the upper left corner. Run through the machine.
One at a time, peel the protective backings off of the thin Adhesive Sheets strips. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets strips to one side of the thin Petal Pink strip and the thin Poppy Parade strip. Be sure to leave the other protective backings in place for now.
Pick out the long, thin line of tulip flower tops die from the Windmill Fields Dies. Put it on top of the Petal Pink strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Petal Pink side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Repeat with the Poppy Parade strip making sure the Poppy Parade (red) side is face up.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the Poppy Parade tulip line cut outs. Adhere it to the bottom of the sentiment rectangle cut out. Make sure to leave room below for the Petal Pink tulip line cut out. Repeat with the Petal Pink tulip line cut out letting it overlap the bottom of the Poppy Parade tulip line cut out. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any excess tulip line cut outs on the left and right edges.
Adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out with tulip line cut outs attached to the center of the Poppy Parade rectangle cut out.
Adhere the matted sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card in the center.
As you are ready to stamp using the Tulip Fields Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the windmill image from the Tulip Fields Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Petal Pink rectangle.
Pick out the matching, small windmill die from the Windmill Fields Dies. Put it on top of the stamped windmill on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the windmill cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right side of the sentiment rectangle as shown.
