Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions:
- Thick Basic White (card base): 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
- Basic White (tools): 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", scrap for paint brush piece.
- Crush Curry (peg board): 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"
- Crushed Curry (tape Measure): 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
- Basic Black (tape measure): 1" x 1"
- Basic Black (sentiment): 3 1/2" x 1 1/2"
- Silver Foil (screws, tape measure): 1 1/2" x 1 1/4"
- Designer Series Paper: 4" x 5 1/4"
Instructions:
1. Thick Basic White cardstock (cardbase): fold on the score line and burnish with bone folder.
2. Emboss the DSP using the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to the cardbase.
3. Cut out the peg board using dies from the Crushed Curry and glue to the front of the card as shown.
4. Stamp the tools using Basic Gray ink on Basic White.
5. Stamp (2 step) paint (Poppy Parade), Wrench handle (Poppy Parade), Hammer handle (Crushed Curry) and Paint Brush handle (Lost Lagoon).
6. Colour the tools with Stampin' Blends.
7. Stamp the Paint Brush on scrap of Basic White and colour the "metal piece" with Stampin' Blends. Cut out and glue to the Paint Brush that has been stamped and coloured.
8. Cut out all the tools with the coordinating dies.
9. Glue the tools to the peg board.
10. Cut out the "label" from Basic Black using the dies, cut down to 2 3/4" so it will fit on the front of the card.
11. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark on label, apply White Emboss Powder and heat set.
12. Pop up the sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals and add some Rhinestones to the holes on both ends.
13. Cut the measuring tape from Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Silver Foil. Assemble the measuring tape and pop up below sentiment.
14. Cut out the screws and nuts from Silver Foil and glue to the card.
