Project Recipe
Card base 8 1/2" x 11". Score in half in both directions.
- with the 8 1/2" side at the top of your paper trimmer or score board, score at 4 1/4".
- turn the cardstock and place the 11" side at the top of your paper trimmer or score board. Score at 5 1/2".
Place the 8 1/2" side of the cardstock back at the top of your paper trimmer or score board. Cut along the 4 1/4" score line down to the 5 1/2" score line.
Turn the card stock and place the 11' side at the top of the paper trimmer or score board. Cut along the 5 1/2" score line down to the 4 1/4" score line. Remove the rectangle piece that you have cut (see template)
Following the template, place the upper left corner of the top panel in the cutting channel of your paper trimmer. Cut diagonally down to the 5 1/2" score line on the right. (top left corner to the bottom right corner of that panel as shown with arrow). Remove triangular piece.
Rotate card stock completely (90*) so point of triangle is pointing down. Fold triangular piece up at score line so it is out of the way while making the next cut.
Place the top right corner of right panel in channel of paper trimmer and cut down to the 5 1'2 score line in the middle (per template).
Remove triangular piece.
Place patterned paper in the paper trimmer with top right corner and bottom left corner in cutting channel. Cut diagonally to create triangular pieces that will match the triangular sections of your card.
Adhere the triangular pieces to the card flaps.
Stamp sentiment and decorate the front of the card with sentiment label and die cuts.
