Project Recipe
Cut card base to 8-1/2 x 5-51/2 and score at 4-1/4". Fold and burnish with your bone folder.
Adhere DSP to the card front at the top, leaving equal borders on all three sides.
Cut Basic White card stock to 5-1/4 x 2-1/2, then free hand cut a snowy hill for the bottom of the card.
Use a Blending Brush and Smoky Slate ink to add dimension to the snowy hill. Stamp the paw prints as shown in the sample in Smoky Slate ink, and the puppy in Tuxedo Black ink. Adhere to the card base overlapping the DSP. Leave a portion accessible to put your sign under later.
Stamp two light strings in Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White scraps and the Trees For Sale sign in Poppy Parade ink.
Die Cut the light strings, sign, and one of each tree top layer from Basic White scraps. Die cut two poles out of Basic Black scrap, and one of each tree base out of Shaded Spruce Scraps.
Adhere one pole to the card front about 1/2" from the left side, and lay the light strings on where you want them to be placed to guide where you want your second pole. Adhere it down when you are sure. You can now adhere the light strings as desired.
Adhere the tree layers together with liquid glue and place the smaller two trees directly to the card front as shown in the sample. Place the largest tree on dimensionals and adhere to the card.
On the inside of the card, stamp one of the tree images in Shaded Spruce in, second generation stamping, so it is lighter than the next layer. Stamp the detailed tree full strength on top of the first tree. Repeat this process on the envelope. Adhere the DSP scrap to the bottom inside of the card under the tree.
