M ake cute little treat baskets using 6x6 Designer Series Paper! These are perfect for Easter, May Baskets, Party Favors, and more!
Project Recipe
1.Start with a 6"x 6" piece of designer series paper, and score at 2" on all four sides. Cut a 1” x 8-1/2” piece of coordinating cardstock for the handle.
Note: I used the Butterfly Bijou Paper which is not available any longer. Any pretty patterned paper will work!
2. Fold on all score lines, then cut on two vertical score lines up to the first horizontal score line (see template) then again on the opposite side.
3. Put a strong adhesive like Tear 'N Tape on the edges as shown in the above template. You are also going to want to put a strip of Tear 'N Tape on each end of the handle as well.
4. Adhere one end of the handle to the outer part of the center flap, then bring the sides of the basket together over the end of the handle, and press the flaps to secure in place. Repeat on the other side.
Note: The handle will be between the outer side of the center flap and the 2 flaps that you bring in.
5. Fill with treats!
