A card for any occasion when there's moment to celebrate.
One piece Merry Merlot cut at 11x4.25 and scored at 5.5 and 2.75. Fold at the centre score line. Then fold the 2.75 score toward the inside of the card. Adhere a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 Merry Merlot to this bottom section of the card front so that it creates the easel when bent and becomes the card front when closed.
Inside the card adhere a piece of 4 x 2.5 piece of Whisper White to centered with an even border at the top and both sides. This is for your message.
Bottom half of the inside of the card becomes the prop for the easel. One piece of 4-1/8 x 2-1/2 inchMango Melody, one piece 4 x 1 inch Whisper White, one piece 4 x 3/4 inch dsp. (This comes from a 4x6 piece of paper cut into two pieces... the 4 x 5-1.4 piece is on the front of the card.)
Stamp the sentiment on the piece of Whisper White in Merry Merlot ink. The sentiment is bordered on either side with the seaweed stamp in Tranquil Tide. Ink up the stamp, stamp off once, stamp the second time at the edge of the paper and the third time next to it closer to the sentiment. Repeat for the other side.
Adhere the DSP to the bottom of the Mango piece leaving an even border on three sides. The sentiment piece is adhered right above with the edges joining together. Wrap the 12 inch piece of Polka Dot Tulle around the top of the paper and tie in a knot. Adhere this whole piece to the bottom of the inside of the card.
Adhere a piece of 5-3/8 x 4-1/8 Mango Melody to the card front.
Using the school of fish die, cut the fish into the top right area of the piece of 4 x 5-1/4 inch DSP. The Mango will show through this area to show the fish.
Using other dies cut three pieces sea grass with Tranquil Tide, one netting with Crumb Cake (sponge this with matching ink to create shadows), one small sand dollar from Sahara Sand, one thick coral from Calypso Coral and one thin coral from Soft Sea Foam. You will also need a 3/4 inch circle of Crumb Cake.
Adhere the DSP with the fish at the top right to the card front. Add the sponged netting at the bottom of the DSP in the center.
Adhere the sea grass at both top corners and the bottom right corner of the DSP.
Layer and adhere the two pieces of coral in the bottom left of the card front.
Separate the star from the inside of the sand dollar. The star will be coloured with Crushed Curry Stampin' Write and Wink of Stella to creat a starfish. Adhere to the lower center of the netting.
Glue the Sahara Sand Sanddollar to the Crumb Cake circle and sponge the edge with Crumb Cake ink. Adhere beside the bottom sea grass.
Using scrap Whisper White and Merry Merlot ink, stamp and cut out the octopus. Adhere to the front of the card using dimensionals.
