1 1/2" x 3 1/2" for banner
5 1/4" x 4" book pattern DSP for card base layer
2" x 4" Crushed Curry scrolled pattern DSP for banner & 1" x 5 1/4" for inside of card
3 1/2" x 2" Terracotta Tile In-Color DSP for lg Ornate Frames Die
3" x 1 1/4" Whisper White for sentiment die piece
2" x 1 1/4" Whisper White for the mummy
(3) bottles cut from the DSP for the inside of the card
Glue the book patterned DSP to the card base.
Stamp the mummy into the Whisper White cardstock using the black ink. I used the Smoky Slate Blends to highlight the edges on the stamp set to give him some dimension. Then fussy cut him out.
To make the banner, I punched the bottom edge of the 2" x 4" Crushed Curry scrolled pattern DSP & 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" Basic Black cardstock. Then I glued them together making sure they aligned at the top edge and were centered at the bottom. Die cut the Terracotta Tile DSP and the Whisper White layer. Stamp the sentiment in Crushed Curry ink then with a rag wipe off the Ghoul Friends and recolor with the black ink. I glued the mummy to the left side of the banner like he is peaking up at the sentiment. Glue down the Terracotta Tile ornate frame, then use dimensional to adhere the sentiment. Place a black enamel dot at the tip of the S in friends. I used dimensionals to adhere the banner to the card base.
The bow on the sentiment is Linen Thread that I colored with the Terracotta Tile ink. I took a piece of the thread and wound it up and laid it on the ink pad and gently pressed it into the ink. You can use a piece of plastic wrap to keep you fingers clean. Once I was satisfied with the color I let it dry, then tie a bow and adhere with a glue dot.
To finish the inside of the card, I place a strip of 1" x 5 1/4" DSP and cut out 3 bottles from the Monster Bash DSP and glued them down.
