I was asked to prepare a project for my teammates to make at our recent team meeting. I was honored to be asked, but scared as well. I like my cards to be easy, but have a little bit of WOW. I knew I wanted to use washi tape. I just love how quick and easy it is to add some color and pattern to any project! I also knew I wanted to use my Timeless Texture stamp set. It is such a great set as a background for almost any project. I used the color palette from the washi tape to give me the colors for the Texture stamps. It is a standard cardbase in Sahara Sand with one layer 4" x 5 1/4" in Very Vanilla.

TIPS TO MAKE THIS CARD
Stamp off (ink stamp then stamp once on scrap paper) before stamping on Very Vanilla layer.
LAYER COLOR & TEXTURE ON THIS CARD
Start with the edge stamp in Dijon, after stamping off start at the top and stamp close to both edges. Ink and stamp off, move down to catch edge of first stamp. Then repeat with same stamp and same color along bottom edge. Next use Cajun Craze to stamp a vertical strip. Using Early Espresso stamp two grid patterns in random horizontal locations (allow space for the greeting and embellishment). Stamp in full strength the flourish in Dapper Denim.
Stamp a texture on the 1" wide x 3 3/4" long Very Vaniila greeting piece in stamped off Dijon. It will take two or three times stamping (stamp off each time after re-inking) to cover the whole piece. Then punch with the banner punch. Next stamp the greeting in Early Espresso (full strength).
Layer the banner with dimensionals over the top of the burlap ribbon piece (attached with Glue dots).
