A nimal Expedition DSP makes great cards with the Animal Friends Thinlits. No stamping required.
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Call Me Clover 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at half
Animal Expedition DSP 5 1/4 x 4
Early Espresso 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
Whisper White 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and 5 1/4 x 4
Adhere the piece of dsp onto the card base.
Using the Stampin' Sponge and Balmy Blue ink pad, sponge onto the square piece of Whisper White for a sky effect.
With the Animal Friends thinlits and Big Shot, cut out one each of the giraffe, hippo and kangaroo.
With the Early Espresso piece, cut out the inside for a frame effect. My inside was cut at 3 1/8 x 3 1/8. Or you can use the Layering Square thinlits if you have them.
Adhere the just the top of the sponged Whisper White to the Early Espresso frame. I used painters tape, but Washi Tape also works well.
Arrange the three cut out animals in the frame to your liking. Adhere to the Whisper White with a touch of Liquid Multipurpose glue.
With two pieces of Linen Thread, tie a bow to the bottom of the frame.
Adhere the Animals and frame to the card base.
Add the remaining piece of Whisper White on the inside.
