Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaron Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of argyle or mosaic pattern in Seaside Spray design from 2019-2021 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 3-1/8" x 4-1/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the 2019-2021 In Color Designer Paper rectangle to the front of the Mint Macaron card front.
As you are ready to stamp using the Thoughtful Blooms Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put some paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the grouping of 4 stems and leaves image from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it near the top of the large white rectangle in the center so the image is longer than it is wide. WITHOUT RE-INKING, rotate the stamp 180 degrees and stamp again.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 2-1/2" x 3-5/8". Put it on top of the stamped white cardstock on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the leaves and stems images are centered side to side and are near the top edge. Run through the tool.
Mount the long, linked chain image from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it across the bottom of the scalloped white rectangle cut out so it is about 5/8" from the bottom edge.
Mount the tiny, rounded flower image from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Seaside Spray Ink Pad. Stamp it repeatedly at the open ends of the stems stamped on the scalloped white rectangle cut out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 2-15/16" x 4-1/16". Put it on top of the Mint Macaron rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Adhere the stamped scalloped white rectangle cut out to the center of the scalloped Mint Macaron rectangle cut out.
Cut 2 pieces each 4" long from the Mint Macaron 1/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon.
Loop one piece of ribbon in half. Using Tear & Tape Adhesive, adhere it to the back of the Mint Macaron scalloped rectangle so the loop sticks out from the top in the center.
Fold the other piece of ribbon in half. Using Tear & Tape Adhesive, adhere it to the back of the Mint Macaron scalloped rectangle so the loose ends stick out from the bottom in the center and are spread apart a bit.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Mint Macaron scalloped rectangle. Adhere the matted rectangles with ribbons attached to the center of the card front.
Trim the loose ends of the ribbon at sharp angles.
Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Seaside Spray Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small white rectangle.
Pick out the smallest, fancy label die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the chain image on the right side.
Mount the large, solid flower image with the dot in the center from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Seaside Spray Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the long white strip. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the flower again in the middle of the white strip, leaving room in between the images to punch them out. Re-ink the stamp with the Seaside Spray Ink Pad. Stamp it once on Grid Paper. Then, WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the flower again on the other end of the white strip, leaving room in between the images to punch them out.
Mount the medium, solid flower image from the Thoughtful Blooms Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Seaside Spray Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the previously stamped flower images. Repeat with the other two previously stamped flower images remembering to re-ink the stamp each time.
Unlock the Small Bloom Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one of the stamped flowers into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other two flowers.
Using SNAIL Adhesive, adhere the darker flower punch out to the front of the card near the upper center of the stems and leaves image. Using SNAIL, adhere one of the lighter flower punch outs just below the first flower and let them overlap a bit.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the final, light flower punch out to the front of the card just to the left of the first two flowers so it overlaps them both a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 tiny rhinestones from a sheet of Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers.
