Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pineapple Punch Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Pineapple Punch Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 8 scraps at least 1/2" wide of various pieces of 2018-2020 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
Lightly spray the large Pineapple Punch rectangle with water. This will help keep your cardstock from tearing when the lines are embossed in the next step.
Insert the damp Pineapple Punch rectangle into the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder so the lines are slightly diagonal. Make sure that all of the cardstock is inside the folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on a Cutting Pad on the Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot. Set aside to allow to dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Thoughtful Banners Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Thoughtful Banners Set on the appropriately sized block. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip.
Mount the curving banner with striped ends image from the Thoughtful Banners Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped sentiment so the sentiment is centered.
Unlock the Duet Banner Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the sentiment banner into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the Classic Label Punch. One at a time, slide the scraps of Designer Paper into the punch and punch until you have 8 different punch outs of various colors and patterns.
If the dry embossed Pineapple Punch rectangle is dry, then adhere it to the large Blueberry Bushel rectangle and then to the front of the Pineapple Punch card.
Tip: You can speed up drying if you need to using the Heat Tool.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punch out pieces on the card front to get an idea for the spacing and positioning. When you are happy with the layout, adhere the pieces in place one at a time.
Pick out a Grapefruit Grove button from the Tinted Faceted Buttons. Adhere the button to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot so it overlaps the lower edge of the sentiment banner near one of the striped ends.
Cut an 8" piece of Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine. Tie a small bow in the center. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the center of the button.
