I am loving the Peony Garden Suite of products in the Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog. This soft print in Gray Granite is works for a sympathy card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Gray Granite 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Peony Garden paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛
Attach Peony Garden print paper to white card mat.
Cut 6” of Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon, attach to card front and wrap ribbon around the back of white card mat. Attach card front to Gray Granite card base.
Die cut label with die from Tasteful Labels die.
I stamped the label with two images. First ink flower with Gray Granite ink and stamp on scrap paper. Now without re-inking, stamp flower on white label. You will have a very light image of the flower. Stamp sentiment with Petal Pink ink over the flower image.
Attach stamped sentiment label over ribbon with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
