Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 5-1/4" x 6" of Granny Apple Green Cardstock
- 5-1/4" x 6" of green and white stripes design from Dandy Designs 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 1" x 2-3/4" from Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Use Stampin' Seal to adhere the striped piece of Dandy Designs Designer Paper to the large Granny Apple Green rectangle so the stripes are face up.
Pick out the box die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the designer paper/cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the designer paper is face up. Run through the machine.
Use the Bone Folder to fold on the long score lines.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive horizontally across one of the long, horizontal rectangles in the center of the box cut out along one edge.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape and adhere the two edge pieces together to make a cylindrical box. Press firmly along the pieces to make sure the adhesive holds.
Pinch the ends together on one end of the box. Tie them closed using a piece of Parakeet Party twine from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack.
Fill the box with treats.
Pinch the ends together on the open end of the box. Tie them closed using another piece of Parakeet Party twine from the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack.
As you are ready to stamp using the Thanks A Bunch Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Thanks" sentiment from the Thanks A Bunch Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Mango Melody Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the skinny Mango Melody rectangle.
Pick out the pointy ended, skinny label die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Mount the "a bunch" sentiment from the Thanks A Bunch Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the skinny Granny Apple Green rectangle.
Put the pointy ended, skinny label die on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment with the sentiment slightly more to the right side. Run through the machine
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the small strip of white cardstock into the left side of the punch (the side of the punch with the outward notch) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the small group of three little carrots image from the Thanks A Bunch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Mango Melody Ink Pad. Stamp it near the punched bottom of the white strip on the left side at a slight angle. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the small group of three little carrots image on Block A with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it near the punched bottom of the white strip on the right side at a slight angle so it slightly overlaps the previously stamped carrots. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.
Mount the small frilly foliage image from the Thanks A Bunch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Granny Apple Green Ink Pad. Stamp it twice over the tops of the carrots on the white punched strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use a tiny bit of Stampin' Seal on the left end of the "a bunch" sentiment strip to adhere it at an angle to the top of the stamped white punch out so the left corners meet.
Use a tiny bit of Stampin' Seal on the left end of the "thanks" sentiment strip to adhere it at an angle to the top of the stamped white punch out so the left corners meet and it overlaps the top of the "a bunch" sentiment strip a bit.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off the upper right corner of the white punched tag along the top edge of the "thanks" label cut out.
Use a handheld circle punch to punch a hole in the upper left corner of the layered tags.
Tie the layered tags onto the left side of the treat box using the twine used to hold the box shut and a knot. Trim the ends of the twine.
