(2) 5 x 6 Whisper White
8 x 4 Gather Together DSP
Scraps of Crushed Curry, Vellum, Pumpkin Pie, Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze and Whisper White for die cut leaves.
Scraps of Time to Gather DSP to cut out pumpkins.
Line the large piece of paper up in the scoring tool so that the 12 side is against the top. Score at 1, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, and 3 inches. Turn the paper 180 degrees so that again the paper is lined up so that the 12 inch side is against the top. Score again at 1, 1 1/2, 2 1/2 and 3.
Line up one of the 6 x 5 pieces on the scoring tool so that the 5 inch side is agains the top. Score at 1, 1 1/2, 2 1.2 and 3. Line up the other 5 x 6 piece of Whisper White the same way and scoe at the same markings.
Burnish score lines with bone folder on all pieces of Whisper White.
On the short pieces of Whisper White, cut both corners 1 inch in to the 2nd fold. Trim off the corner.
Make a diagonal cut between the 3rd score line and the 2nd on both sides of the short pieces of Whisper White.
The short pieces of Whisper White should look like these.
Rub all borders on he sides with the embossing buddy.
Put down strips of sticky note paper or washi tape on each side of the 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 scores. This will be the raised side of the shadow box frame. Then stamp this strip with versa mark repeatedly and randomly with the small background stamp. Sprinkle with copper embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool.
The sides should look like this when you are done embossing.
Lightly fold the sides of the long paper. Tuck the edges of the short paper under the folds so that the bottom pieces overlap the bottom of the long piece. Glue the side pieces to the larger piece making sure not to glue down the side pieces past the fold. Glue down the sides putting liquid glue on the bottom scored fold. Do this to all sides.
Adhere the 8 x 4 piece to the back of the frame.
Stamp the leaf onto vellum with VersaMark. Sprinkle with copper embossing powder and heat set.
Die cut the vellum leaf. Die cut at least one more leaf in Crushed Curry. Stamp the leaf with gold or copper metallic ink. Die cut leaves from scraps of fall colored paper. Fussy cut pumpkins from the designer series paper. Stamp and die cut pumpkins in Mint Marcaron.
Layer the leaves and pumpkins onto the back of the shadow box using dimensional adhesives. Add a loop or two of Cajun Craze twine to embellish the leaves.
Die cut the letters to the word "thankful" out of Pretty Peacock paper. Layer those on top of the leaves using mini-dimensionals and mini-dimensionals cut in 1/2. Add wooden feathers to embellish with glue dots. Layer the Whisper White stamped with Mint Macaron pumpkins on the bottom right corner of the frame.
Use tare-n- tape to adhere about 14 inches of Gather Together ribbon to the back of the frame. Tie another 6-7" piece of ribbon around the first in a knot. Trim ends attractively.
