Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and vellum designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of Soft Sea Foam vellum from So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 2-3/4" from Purple Posy Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Tags In Bloom Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large outlined tag with blooms and leaves at the top image from the Tags In Bloom Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle so the tops of the flowers are about 1/2" from the top and the tips of the leaves on the left are about 3/8" from the left side.
Mount the single, outline flower image from the Tags In Bloom Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle in the lower right corner. Leave room around it to stamp the buds and leaves.
Mount the set of 2 outline buds image from the Tags In Bloom Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle in the lower right corner so the buds appear to be sticking up from the flower on the upper right side.
Mount the tiny, outline leaf image from the Tags In Bloom Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle in the lower right corner so the it appears to be sticking out from the flower on the lower right side. Re-ink the stamp with the Memento Pad and stamp it again so it appears to be sticking out from the flower on the lower left side.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the cardstock that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the stamped white rectangle on the work paper and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Dark Petal Pink Marker to color in the centers of the flowers.
Use the Dark and Light Purple Posy Markers to color in the flower petals and buds.
Use the Dark and Light Soft Sea FoamMarkers to color in the leaves and bud bracket.
Use the Color Lifter Marker to remove any excess color as needed.
Adhere the stamped and colored white rectangle to the front of the Soft Sea Foam card.
Unlock the Label Me Lovely Punch. Slide the strip of So Very Vellum Specialty Designer Paper into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the vellum punch out to the center of the label stamped on the white cardstock using SNAIL in the center of the vellum punch out only.
Mount the "Sending hugs" sentiment from the Tags In Bloom Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one end of the Purple Posy strip.
Unlock the 1-1/2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the vellum punch out.
Cut a 4" piece of Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Place the ribbon on some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect your work area.
Use the brush tip of the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends to color the dots on the ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at an angle so it is on top of the vellum punch out on the bottom right side of the sentiment circle punch out.
