L ayering up a dimensional scene using extra DSP scraps, elements, tags, and topping it off with a sweet sentiment is a great way to make a card. I like the carefully constructed collage building experience it offers.
Project Recipe
Pick your favorite leftover large patterned tag.
Cut the angled end off so that you are left with a square or rectangle panel piece for your background.
Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Fussy cut around the gold wreath, making an oval, from one of the extra tags. Adhere to the top of the panel using Stampin' Seal.
Use dimensionals to adhere the mistletoe and holly element over the gold-lined oval.
Cut the top of one of the extra gift package bows off and turn horizontal for a decorative strip. Use mini dimensionals to adhere over the holly.
Choose your favorite sentiment from the Tag Buffet stamp set. Stamp it with Shaded Spruce on an appropriate size rectangle of Whisper White. (Here we used 1 x 2.25 scrap.)
Tip: Don't have the Tag Buffet Stamp Set yet?
It's item #153612 in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog. on Pg.5.
Use Stampin' Seal or Mini Glue Dots to adhere your sentiment over the striped banner you created.
