Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of diagonal multi-colored stripes design from How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 2-3/8" x 3-5/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- jar shape roughly cut from a piece of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips and then further cut out using the Jar of Sweets Framelits
- scrap of Coastal Cabana Cardstock
- scrap of Pineapple Punch Cardstock
Adhere the large rectangle of How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper to the front of the Gorgeous Grape card.
Pick out the matching jar framelit from the Jar of Sweets Framelits. Place the roughly cut out candy jar designer paper image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the candy jar framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweetest Thing Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
WITHOUT adhering it, lay the candy jar cut out on the left side of the white rectangle. Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Sweetest Thing Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white space to the right of the candy jar cut out.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the Melon Mambo rectangle.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Highland Heather Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the matted white rectangle so it is about 1/2" from the bottom. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Melon Mambo rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the card in the center.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the candy jar cut out to the front of the card so it is on the left side of the white rectangle and overlaps the ribbons.
Cut a 3" piece of the Highland Heather Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front on the right side of the candy jar cut out and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Pick out a couple of the solid candy framelits from the Jar of Sweets Framelits. Place the scraps of Coastal Cabana and Pineapple Punch Cardstock on the Cutting Pad on the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the candy framelits on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Paper-Piercing Tool and/or Big Shot Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Adhere the candy cut outs to the card front so they cover the lower right corner of the matted sentiment rectangle and overlap each other a bit as well. Adhere one flat and use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other.
