Project Recipe
Cut card stock to the following dimensions - listed in order of how they are layered:
1. Marvelous Magenta 5.5 x 8.5 (base)
2. Basic White 4 x 5.25 (right inside)
3. Basic White 3 x 5.25 ( layer one front)
4. In Color DSP Magenta Madness dotted
2.75 x 5 (layer 2 front)
5. Granny Apple Green 2.5 x 4.75 ( layer 3 front)
6. Basic White 2 3/8 x 4 5/8 ( final art layer front)
7. Basic White 1.75 x 8.5 ( to stamp ice cream
shapes onto for punching out)
Score and fold Magenta Madness base card at 4.25
Once folded cut 1" from card front
Attach the Basic White 4 x 5.25 piece to the inside right of the base card with Stampin' Seal
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment with Granny Apple Green on the right side so it shows up the side of the card.
On the front of the card layer the 3 x 5.25 piece of Basic White
Layer the DSP piece next leaving a 1/8" border
Layer the Granny Apple Green next leaving a 1/8" border
Layer the final piece of Basic White next leaving a 1/16" border
Attach all of these layers with Stampin' Seal
Stamp the cone stamp with Crumb Cake ink approximately 1/2 inch from the bottom and centered from right to left
Stamp the cone hash tag stamp with Crumb Cake over the cone background
On the 1.75 x 8.5 piece of Basic White card stock, note the orientation of the ice cream shape in the punch and stamp three ice cream shapes across the piece in each of three colors, Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green and Mango Melody.
When stamping place the foam pad behind the card stock so you will get a better image
Also be sure to separate each of the shapes far enough apart to be able to cut off the scrap portion after punching out the first and second shapes.
Stamp the "drip" stamp in the same color, tone on tone on each of three ice cream pieces.
Attach the first ice cream shape flat with Stampin' Seal.
Attach the second Ice cream shape with a double layer of mini glue dots to give it a very slight elevation over the first layer.
Attach the third ice cream shape with a double layer of mini glue dots on the portion that will overlap the middle layer and then a layer of 4 mini glue dots for the top portion. This will raise it slightly above the middle layer.
