I remember those early days...a steady stream of generous visitors bearing gifts. Between the newborn fog and the nighttime feedings it was tough to keep track of who needed thank you notes. (If I forgot you 15 years ago, THANK YOU for not ever bringing it to my attention). When I got a few quiet minutes and the motivation, I would knock out as many thank you's as possible. But, there was always those times when I was ready to go, and discovered I had run out. The baby would be awake and motivation was a barely a memory.
A particularly stylish friend recently had her first baby so I wanted to make her a set of thank you notes to add to her stash for when that motivation struck. Because she is a young (well, compared to me!) and stylish (again, compared to me but that is pretty easy...) new mom, rubber duckies just wouldn't do!
I CASE'D this card from the Stampin' Up! blog because it just didn't scream baby. The colors of the Sweet Dreams DSP aren't your predictable powder blue and I absolutely love the Aztec inspired patterns, which are so popular in fashion right now.Any of the Sweet Dreams DSP's can stand alone and be used for a variety of projects outside of baby projects. As for that +1 stamp, once I received the Little Sunshine stamp set I knew I HAD to use it. It is SO modern and current! Again, I plan to use this stamp in my Project Life album ASAP! I'm thinking of that great Jeep selfie of my husband and I from last November...hmmmm.
I think my stylish new mom friend enjoys her note card set as much as I enjoyed making them.
