Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3" x 3-3/4" of Soft Sky foil dots on kraft background from Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Blushing Bride Cardstock
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 5" from Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock
Place the Blushing Bride rectangle into the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Blushing Bride layer to the front of the Sweet Sugarplum card so that the left edge is right on the fold of the card and the bottom edge is about 1/4" from the bottom of the card.
Adhere the piece of Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card front so the left edge is right on the fold of the card and the top edge is about 1/4" from the top edge of the card. It will overlap the Blushing Bride layer a bit.
Pick out the loopy string thinlit from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. Place the strip of Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the loopy string thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the card stock.
Place the loopy string cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the loopy string cut out. Flip the loopy string cut out over and adhere it to the card front so it mostly covers the seam between the designer paper and Blushing Bride layers. Trim off excess on either side of the card.
Cut a 15" piece of Pool Party 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon. Adhere it to the front of the card at an angle with loops and overlaps using Tear & Tape Adhesive. Make sure the Tear & Tape is to the right side of the card and centered so it will be hidden by the circle and cupcake image. Trim the ends at sharp angles.
Pick out the stitched circle framelit that cuts out a circle that is 2-7/16" diameter from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Place the Very Vanilla square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stitched circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "Make A" and "Wish" sentiments from the Sweet Cupcake Set over the top of each other on Block A. Ink them up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp them in the upper right of the circle cutout.
Adhere the circle to the card front so it is to the right side and overlaps the ribbon and seam between the designer paper and Blushing Bride layers.
Mount the frosting image marked 3 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Blushing Bride Ink Pad. Stamp off once onto Grid Paper. Stamp onto larger rectangle of Very Vanilla.
Mount the frosting image marked 2 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Blushing Bride Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previous frosting image.
Mount the frosting image marked 3 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previous frosting image.
Paint over the darker areas of the frosting with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle.
Pick out the matching frosting framelit from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. Place the stamped frosting image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the frosting framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the cupcake bottom image marked 3 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp off once onto Grid Paper. Stamp onto smaller rectangle of Very Vanilla.
Mount the cupcake bottom image marked 2 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previous cupcake bottom image.
Mount the cupcake bottom image marked 1 from the Sweet Cupcake Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previous cupcake bottom image.
Pick out the matching cupcake bottom framelit from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits. Place the stamped cupcake bottom image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cupcake bottom framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the cupcake bottom cut out to the left side of the circle along the bottom.
Adhere the frosting cut out on top of the cupcake bottom so it overlaps just a bit.
Pick out a Sweet Sugarplum star from the 2016-2018 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes and adhere it to the right side of the circle below the sentiment using a Mini Glue Dot.
