Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Calypso Coral Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of small pink flowers and small blue flowers and green leaves on white background design from You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut in half on a diagonal
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of pink stripes on white background design from You're A Peach 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper cut so the stripes are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle, cut in half on a diagonal
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- scrap of Pale Papaya Cardstock
- long, thin scrap of any color cardstock
If you haven't already done so, use the Paper Trimmer to cut the horizontal You're A Peach Designer Paper rectangles in half on a diagonal. You are using the bottom triangle of the floral diagonally-cut paper and the top triangle of the striped diagonally-cut paper on this project.
Note: Save the other diagonally-cut pieces of designer paper to use on another project.
Adhere the triangles of designer paper to the Calypso Coral rectangle so there is a small amount of Calypso Coral showing on all sides.
Adhere the Calypso Coral/designer paper rectangle to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
Unlock the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Slide the 2" x 3-1/4" white cardstock into the punch. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet As A Peach Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "sweet as a peach" sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the horizontal white rectangular postage stamp punch out.
Adhere the stamped, rectangular postage stamp punch out to the front of the card in the center.
Mount the "Hope your day is as" sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it near one long edge of the 1" x 3-1/4" Pale Papaya strip near one end.
Hold the unlocked Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment on the Pale Papaya strip into the punch and get it centered side to side in the punching area with the sentiment close to the top or bottom long edge. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Lightly adhere a long thin scrap of cardstock of any color to the back of the punched "Hope your day is an" sentiment punch out. You will use this scrap of cardstock to help you punch out the rest of this sentiment strip.
Hold the unlocked Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment on the Pale Papaya strip attached to the thin scrap of cardstock into the punch and get it centered side to side in the punching area so you'll punch along the top or bottom long edge to scallop it and have a sentiment strip that is only about 1/2" wide when you are done. Punch.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the scalloped edge, skinny, sentiment punch out strip to the front of the card so it overlaps the upper left side of the stamped rectangular postage stamp punch out. The left side of the skinny sentiment strip should be about 3/4" from the left side of the card.
Mount the single, large, peach image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, rub a Blending Brush across the open Calypso Coral Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly tap/rub the inky Blending Brush on the right side of the inked up peach image. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the peach image on the 1-3/4" x 2" white rectangle.
Pick out the matching peach die from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Place the peach cut out on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Rub the Blending Brush across the Grid Paper to remove most of the Calypso Coral ink from it. Now, rub it across the open Pale Papaya Ink Pad to get it inky with that color. Rub the inky Blending Brush all over the peach cut out to color in all the white spaces.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the blended peach cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the right side of the sentiment postage stamp punch out.
Mount the set of two leaves and stem image from the Sweet As A Peach Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. BEFORE stamping, use the brush tip of the Early Espresso Marker to color directly onto the stem part of the stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp in the center of the Pear Pizzazz rectangle.
Pick out the matching two leaves with stem die from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the leaves and stem cut out to the peach cut out so the stem is tucked behind the center top of the peach and the leaves overlap the top right side of the peach.
Cut a 4" piece of the Pale Papaya & White 1/2" Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at the intersection of the bottom of the peach cut out and the bottom right side of the sentiment postage stamp punch out.
Pick out the sets of three small flowers dies from the Peach Dies. Put it on top of the scrap of Pale Papaya on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool or die brush on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use tiny little dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the small flower cut outs in a slight arc over the peach on the front of the card (on the striped designer paper rectangle).
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 Pale Papaya large or small jewels from a sheet of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the tiny Pale Papaya flowers.
