P retty treat bags for small Christmas gifts using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 3-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 6" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Mount the poinsettia image from the Stylish Christmas Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a circle that is 2-3/4" diameter. Place the stamped poinsettia square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle framelit on top so the poinsettia is slightly to the left of center. You may cut off the tips of a couple of petals. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "Peace" sentiment from the Stylish Christmas Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it on the lower right side of the poinsettia circle so it overlaps the poinsettia on the right side a bit.
Pick out the scalloped circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a scalloped circle that is 3-1/8" diameter. Place the Mossy Meadow square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the poinsettia circle to the scalloped Mossy Meadow circle.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the matted poinsettia circle to the center of the front of a Striped Treat Bag so the bottom of the circles overlaps the top of the second gold stripe from the bottom just a bit.
Pick out the leafy filigree edgelit from the Delicate Lace Edgelits. Place the Mossy Meadow strip on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the leafy filigree edgelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Put Tear & Tape Adhesive across the top of the leafy filigree cut out on the back side. Adhere the leafy filigree cut out to the front of the Striped Treat Bag so it covers the bottom of the matted circles. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the sides.
Fill your bag with treats.
Wrap the Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the bag so it covers the seam between the leafy filigree edgelit and the bag. Tie in place with a knot on the left side of the matted circles. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula tip on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a medium gem from a sheet of Gold Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the poinsettia flower.
