I created this card as an example of the fun fold I demonstrated on my weekly Technique Thursday Facebook Live.
Project Recipe
Start out with 11-1/2" x 4-1/4" basic white cardstock. Score at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2"
Using a 2-1/4" die, cut a circle on the left side at the 2-1/2" end of the cardstock. Center the die over the top and the middle section. Save the circle.
Fold the bottom section measuring 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" up to the top. Add 4" x 4" Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper to that section now facing you.
Fold the top down onto the bottom section. Using a die, cut half the circle out of the 4" x 2-1/4" Petal Pink cardstock.
Adhere the cardstock to the front of the card.
Cut a 1-3/4" circle of Petal Pink cardstock and stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then adhere the circle to the 2-1/4" basic white circle you cut out. Set aside.
Stamp the greeting on the front with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
On the inside, at the bottom (opposite the side that has the layered Petal Pink CS and DSP. Cut another 4" x 4" DSP and adhere it to the inside.
Stamp the message on Petal Pink cardstock and cut it out with Layering Ovals (these are retired as of May 3, 2021.) Then adhere is to the inside middle section of the card.
Close the card and adhere the white and pink layered circles to the top leaving enough space for the circle to pass through the hole. It might be snug and may bend slightly when opening and closing the card; that's okay.
Add Pearl Basic Jewels to finish it off.
