Project Recipe
Supplies
· Basic White Cardstock measuring 5-1/2" x 6-1/4" and scored at 4-1/4" on the 6-1/4" side.
· Another piece of Basic White Cardstock measuring 1" x 5-1/2", and one more at 1-1/2" x 2".
· Just Jade 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".
· Flowers for Every Season DSP 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" and a second piece at 3/4" x 5-1/4, and another DSP design at 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" (I used the opposite side of the same DSP.)
· Etched in Nature Stamp Set for the greeting and sentiment. This set will be available in the new catalog on May 4.
· Coordinating ink pad, I used Just Jade for the salutation and the greeting.
· Ribbon and Embellishments if you desire.
· Label Me Fancy Punch
Begin with 5-1/2" x 6-1/4" Basic White cardstock, and score at 4-1/4" on the long 6-1/4" side. It should look like this.
Adhere the 1-3/4 x 5-1/4" DSP to the top of the card leaving a margin all the way around.
Adhere the thinner strip of DSP to the 1" x 5-1/2" white cs.
Adhere the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" DSP to the other coordinating cs that measures 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".
Lay the 5-1/2" x 1" piece of layered cs & DSP at the bottom of the card, but don't adhere it yet.
Wrap 4-1/4" Magenta Madness ribbon around the card and adhere it on the backside of the panel. Adhere the 2-1/2" x 3" Just Jade cs to the back of the panel to cover the ribbon.
Use Dimensionals to adhere the panel to the top and bottom pieces of cardstock creating a bridge between. Your project should look almost complete. (See the final project photo.)
Stamp the greeting onto the 1-1/2" x 2" white cs.
Punch it out using the Label Me Fancy Punch. Punch out another label using the Magenta Madness Scrap, and cut it in half.
Layer the greeting onto the cut Magenta Madness label so the Magenta Madness can be seen on either side of the greeting.
Line up and stamp the inside of the card so the greeting can be seen between the top and bottom pieces of the card.
Make a bow from the 12" of ribbon and add it to the front using a Mini Glue Dot and snip the ends.
TA-DA!
