I demonstrated the Drapery Fold on my Technique Thursday Facebook Live.
Project Recipe
These are the instructions for the Pansy Patch Drapery Fold.
Cardstock dimensions
11" x 4¼" Evening Evergreen
4" x 1½" Basic White
5¼" x 4" Basic White for the inside
4" x 4" Calypso (in the video, I used Pumpkin Pie and later changed it)
10" x 4" Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper
Scraps of the following
Blackberry Bliss
Soft Succulent
Basic White
Score the 11" x 4¼" Evening Evergreen at 5½" and fold.
On the backside of the DSP, mark ¾" on the short side and again diagonally on the other end.
Use the paper trimmer to cut the paper in half diagonally.
Starting with the broader end of the DSP, use the scoring blade on the paper trimmer to score at 2", 3", 5", 6", 8", and 9".
Make an accordion fold starting with the broader end and making a valley fold—next, a mountain fold and repeat across the DSP.
Using tear n tape or Stampin' Seal+, tape the folds' backside so they lay flat. Next, adhere the fold to the Calypso Coral cardstock lining up at the top edge.
Adhere the 4" x 1 ½" Basic White cardstock to the top of the card base, leaving an equal margin at the top and both sides.
Adhere the drapery fold with the Calypso Coral cardstock to the card base overlapping the white cardstock and leaving an even margin at the bottom and on the sides of the card.
Adhere the 5¼" x 4" white cardstock to the inside of the card.
I will post a video on making the pansy flower, but for now, you can die-cut a pansy from the DSP and adhere it to the top of the card with Dimensionals.
Using the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set. Stamp the Calypso Coral cardstock toward the bottom right with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Adhere Silver Epoxy Essentials to finish off the card.
