H ere's another one from last year, but so quick and easy I had to include it. This is a basic design that you can really do with just about any stamp set. Give it a try!
Project Recipe
Start with a Medium “Crumb Cake” or “Whisper White” Envelope – 5 ¾ x 4 3/8
Cut a piece of “Crumb Cake” or Whisper White” card stock to 4 ¼ x 11, and score a line in the middle at 5 1/2 then fold to form a Vertical - top fold card.
Using “Crumb Cake” &/ or “Black” ink pad, and the “Cookie Cutter Christmas” stamp set, Choose the character of your choice and stamp it repeatedly on the card. This could be in a random pattern, or neatly lined up. Make sure to stamp off the sides of the card for a nicer look. Leave these un colored. Then on a separate piece of “Whisper White” card stock, stamp a matching character and, use the Cookie Cutter Punch to cut out the stamped image. Add any coloring if desired.
Use “Candy Cane Lane” Washi Tape and put it across the bottom of the card about ½ inch from the bottom. Then Cut a piece of “Candy Cane Lane Designer” Series Paper to 1 x 4 ½ and affix it just above the washi tape with double sided tape. Stamp a card saying from the “Cookie Cutter” stamp set either directly on the paper accent, or cut another small piece of “Whisper White” card stock and stamp the saying on that and affix to the DSP on the card.
Now affix character to the card with “Dimentionals” adhesive foam dots as shown. Tie the red and white “Candy Cane lane” Bakers twine, under the character, around the card horizontally, and tie a bow.
If you like, you can stamp the same character on the front bottom corner of your envelope for a little extra fun!
