S pooky Halloween treat box using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- sheet of haunted houses on light gray background design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" from Terracotta Tile Cardstock
Fold a Coffin Treat Box base and lid along all score lines using the Bone Folder.
Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the box together. Set aside.
Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the lid together.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the sheet of Monster Bash Designer Paper into the punch and get one of the larger haunted house images centered in the punching area. Punch.
Squeeze the lid of the Crushed Curry Ink Pad to get ink in the lid. If needed, add ink to the lid using an Ink Refill. Use the Blender Pen to pick up ink from the pad lid and color in the windows and moon on the punched out haunted house circle. Remember to stroke in one direction only or the cardstock will tear and pill up. Scribble on Grid Paper when you are done until no more color is coming off the Blender Pen.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the Crushed Curry strip into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the colored haunted house circle punch out to the center of the Crushed Curry circle punch out.
Adhere the matted circles to the top of the coffin lid.
Mount the "Spooky" sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash Set on Block B. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Terracotta Tile strip.
Pick out the small stitched label die with rounded ends from the Ornate Frames Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is more to the right. Run through the tool.
Use Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the lid so it overlaps the bottom of the matted circles and is centered side to side.
Cut a 3" piece of Crushed Curry 3/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the top of the lid so it is centered just below the sentiment cut out.
